Genji Shield
I rule the game of Crisis Core!!

I've gone up against a Magic Pot, each one you come across asks you to attack it with specific things. This time around was the hardest, at least the last one was.

- Gil Toss
- Costly Punch
- 99 999 damage [yes it's possible!]
- Octaslash [clearly the problem]

You can't make Seph's limit break come on order, it's random. However you can buy materia that ups your chances of getting a specific limit.

As it was I had to fight the Magic Pot more than ten times before I finally my Genji Shield which equipped, you get

- Barrier [half physical damage]
- MBarrier [half magical damage]
- Absorbs all Elements
- Nulls all Statuses

as you can see this is really a nice piece of equipment. I'm three memories for Cloud away from finishing my DMW and getting the Genji Armour. Oh how I love this game! !!♥!!

can I quit now?
Didn't get much done today *pouts*

Josh started a game in Crisis Core I've been telling him all about it ^_^ he's been hoping that they'll make it for the PS3 which they've done for a few of these PSP games.

Been working on a Hurt/Comfort fic for Supernatural...but my brain just isn't making it easy. I'm stuck at the moment where I don't think it's worth completing. I've been getting really frustrated with it tonight, I start writing something for it, and suddenly have to go back and change a lot of it >_< I'd just really like to be able to finish it!

I went out for a walk today cashed my GST rebate and decided to stop in at my Oma's one of my aunts was visiting with her kids. and found out that my camera can zoom in and out while filming, this is something I've wanted for a long time. I'm also hoping that it's low light abilities will make filming at Animaritime easier.

this is Griffin my aunt's youngest, I have a real soft spot for him

trying to focus on some good
Am so loving every little thing about Crisis Core!! Zack has to be one of the funnest character's I've ever played. He's right up there along with Balthier for sheer win!

I've met Arith for the first time in the game. To any out there playing as well [if this seems like a long time] I've been doing a lot of missions, and I've managed to not be playing 24/7 though I'll admit it's hard!

The hardest part about this game [in my opinion] is knowing how it's all going to end...even in the beginning you know it's going to be bittersweet and I want happy! but I can deal with it. I wouldn't miss this game for the world!

Not only that but you get to see a lot more of Sephiroth, which makes me think that the authors out there who wrote stories before FFVII took place had him just about right on the money...makes me wonder if information on Sephiroth's personality was out there somewhere besides in the actually FFVII game...where he's a little insane.

Back to the game to enjoy every second of it!

Crisis Core!
I has it! Iz started it!

This here is the reason I got my PSP so long ago, in preparation for this game.

I have to say Zack has to top the list of adorably fun characters to play! He's young ambitious, wants nothing more than to be a hero. He's hugely confident in himself, but that's not miss placed as he's an excellent fighter [though I must admit, getting thrown into that fighting style I was a little afraid for his chances ^_~]

I'm used to the set up now, reading about it tends not to make sense to me, I need to see it in action for me to understand.

Ash Wednesday
So today begins the season of Lent...*sigh* I really hate days of fast, might not be hungry on a normal day but because I can't have anything I'm all the more hungry. Oh well I'm sure it's doing more good because it's hard.

Since I've been having so much trouble writing of late I decided to get into a video game, my brother mentioned starting it soon and I couldn't resist. Legaia 2: Duel Saga I've played it before but never beat it. I think I had far to much on the go back then probably lost my place.

Two days of taking Tarazodone and I haven't experienced Serotonin Storm, so that's a good thing. Means I'm sleeping right again, which is really important.

So Dutch pancakes tonight

and I'm not really sorry to say I Lost the Game

good times?
still can't write *sigh*

I'm still going over what I've written but I'm just not feeling inspired right now...could be I need a change of scene...

I've been playing Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology again and have progressed the storyline some more, I had been working on leveling Krevin up some before I continued on. I wish your level wasn't effected by the job you have but what can you do? ^_~ at least there're always places that you can work on leveling up.

for you [info]monkeyfeathers I just escorted Stahn through the Hallowed Bastion, and have even gone on a mission with Kratos ^_~

I so love this game, I just love the missions! You don't have to be committed to playing for hours. Though playing for hours isn't a bad thing ^_~

good times...minus the writing problems

huh?
Alright, I totally don't get the Sims for the PSP, I thought it would be similar to the PC version just with less freedom, which is fine by me...

But that doesn't appear to be the case, it seems more like a mystery game, have to solve problems find people dead bodies and properly bury them so they'll stop haunting my house...that sort of thing

Which is fine, I'm always happy having some direction that I'm supposed to go in...the problem I'm having is how to keep my sanity/mood meeter up...it's completely drained right now and nothing I do seems to help raise it...and I find that really frustrating...

And I don't really think any of you out there will have any suggestions for me, since I think I'm the only one playing the PSP version...still if you have anything please! I'd be more than willing to hear. At the moment I'm just waiting for Hayden to have a mental breakdown and be taken away to the 'funny farm' so to speak...

I can never really enjoy a game if I don't understand all the workings of it, like how to improve her mood/sanity...I've got a nice house need money so I can get it decorated the way I like it. I'd like to be able to play more.

However when in doubt there's always Jeanne D'arc to fall back on which is nice to know...but at the moment I'm going to see if I can't get some writing done on chapter 10 of "Lift me Up did I mention this story's made it to 100 pages? ^_~ Always happy when that happens

apparently not...
so I just now find out that I'm not going to the Keg tonight...but that mom and dad decided to do it tomorrow.

Tomorrow is dad's birthday so that's a good thing...he wants to hit a bucked of balls at the golf dome...not such a good thing...but I'll bring my PSP and play some Jeanne D'arc

I don't know why not knowing that until now irritates me so much...I don't want to be upset right now I was handling my day fairly well, and the last thing I want is to crash. I'd really like a night when I just remain the same...

Oh and I think the CBC has just reached a new low in their broadcasting...The Week the Women Went....ummm What the Hell?! oh well, not like I have to watch it ^_~

So now what?

more Jeanne D'arc? Some writing perhaps?

guess I'll just have to wait and see ^_~

Oh and I think I'd really like to get my hands on another PSP version of the Sims...I think I like the restrictions that exist in those versions over the freedom in the PC Sims *laughs* Don't give me absolute freedom it terrifies me ^_~

Sims
Mom was intrigued by my playing the Sims 2 Pets and decided she wanted to give the Sims a try and bout the Sims 2 Deluxe edition. It's installed on Tsume which means I can play it whenever I want.

I went onto it just to see if I could find some thing that mom was having a hard time finding and I did. I was party way through creating my Sims family when I don't know what crashed either the game or the computer but no matter the only way I could get things to work again was to shut the computer down.

Needless to say this wasn't the best first impression that the game could make with me. Although I find all the options and choices a little overwhelming ^_~ and I'm glad that I played a PSP version first. Other wise I think I would have been too intimidated to even give the game a proper try. As it stands I can give mom some advice on what to do, and where to find things. I know the set up won't be identical to the PSP version but that's alright.

I can tell already that she really likes it, she was just a little frustrated that she couldn't find where to create her own custom family. I've found that now so when she comes home she can have a fun time making her people, man do they ever give you a lot of options in how they look, and I love some of the women's formal wear ^_~ so taking a gown ^_~ can't help it ^_^

I started Jeanne D'arc yesterday ^___^ it makes for happy feet. I'll definitely enjoy playing this game I'm sure. I didn't get very far in the game because it was the last day I could get together with [info]neekabe ^_^ and she's more important than a game any time!

Got to watch a litle more Doctor Who too, I just love David Tennant he's such an amazing actor! which can make certain parts of the show absolutely heart breaking. I'm not looking forward to seeing the season finale of season 2...I understand I'll no doubt be in tears...knowing that does nothing to prepare me though. But I will watch it ^_^

Tonight we're heading over to my uncle's to watch the Simpsons Movie on his theater system, neither of my uncles have seen the movie yet ^_^ I laugh so hard still watching it, and I could easily watch it a bunch more times ^_^ I think it's become an instant classic in out house. They really did an excellent job on it!

Christmas Eve part 2
So I'm back from my aunts place!

Love seeing my aunts and uncles! But oh my with 14 children excited beyond belief with Santa coming ^_~ I quickly made my way down into the dark and quiet family room where I quietly played on my PSP. Oh and feenix I finally managed to defeat that battle! ^_^

Krevin is now a Swordman level 8 and slowly working his way up ^_~ I want him ahead of the other characters again ^_~

Am now watching A Christmas Carol, my dad's favorite movie ^_^ it's tradition that we watch it ^_^

so now I have sleepy happy feet, which will hopefully last long into tomorrow! *fingers crossed*

I hope each and everyone of you has a very merry Christmas!!

Well I think I've finished Sims Pets...or at least I've unlocked everything I can with the family I've been working on ^_^ Ahrum and Vailyn are in a three bedroom house! and the kitties Snowball and Coltran have two rooms for themselves, and hopefully Snowball will finally stop destroying my couches...don't know how many times I've scolded her for that...and she still does it. Especially when she's drunk on catnip.

So I've finally removed the Sims from my PSP and inserted Tales of the World so I can start it at any time now ^_^

We're getting our Christmas Tree this weekend, my sister's home today, and as I understand it, my brother and his wife will be coming down tomorrow or Saturday. So everyone will be here for it! Hooray!! It's always interesting to see how the kitties take to the tree. None of them have ever tried to climb the tree, thankfully! But Heero likes to try and eat the tree ^_~

We always make sure to keep unbreakable ones near the bottom just in case kitties start batting at them ^_~

Stupid Sims! Why do you have to be so bloody addictive?!

I mean really?!

I've had Tales of the World since Saturday, and I still haven't started it yet, cause every time I grab my PSP I start thinking...I should work on my Sims, what with their stupid pets suddenly not liking them ^_~

*sigh*

Not like any of this is a real problem ^_~ I'm occupying my time, and I always have a new game to fall back on.

And I found out a couple of days ago that mom's going to get me Jeanne D Arc It looks like it's a tactical game like Final Fantasy Tactics. What I always wonder about is how it will compare to Tactics, because Tactics really hit on perfection, and so I've played and enjoyed a bunch of tactical games, but none so far has compared to Tactics.

So now I'm going back to Sims *shakes fist* you shouldn't be so addictive! Its just not right! ^_~

Sims rant RAWR!!
Why the hell do my stupid pets suddenly stop liking me?!

I go through all the trouble of fulfilling their wants becoming best friends with them...and then all of a sudden all the points goes away, or worse still I end up in the negatives...

My brother thinks its a matter of keeping me busy, but this just doesn't seem right. Even the random characters that I make friends with don't drop all the points like this, they go down slowly giving me a chance to build it back up.

Very furstrating, [info]yubsie [info]i_paint_the_sky do you have any idea what's happening?

Also I now have my copy of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology ^_^ haven't started it yet...am enjoying the fact that I have it...might seem strange, but then I've never denied being strange ^_~

Will probably end up starting it later today, it has a very thick rule book feenix I'm so lazy ^_~ I'm not even going to read it. If you were sitting in my house right now I'd just be bugging you about what all to do ^_~

more sims 2 pets
The Is'nah family has moved into a 2 bedroom house, I've thought about getting another pet but just haven't found one at the pet store that I like yet. Been working up their goals...but Ahrum has a goal I'm not sure I can meet I have to beat a chicken at checkers...

So addicted to the game...only problem is I often forget to save, and yesterday I lost a lot of work. When I went to move from my bachelor home to the 1 bedroom house I realised I'd lost some of the items I'd bought. So when I went from 1 to 2, I made sure to sell off the items in the house that I'd just be getting more of in my new place. But it still wasn't enough I lost my wardrobe which just happens to be the one thing I can't buy a second of...so I had to reset.

I've been saving more today...got to keep in the habit.

aliens?
hmmm Vailyn was abducted by Aliens!!!...I was trying to build up her logic with a telescope. In a side note I'm definitely getting a better understanding of the game, and how to progress my Sims. So yeah aliens...just what's going to happen now?

I really need to get a bigger house, had to inventory a lot of my stuff to make room for the items I need to promote my character's in their jobs.

Seriously though this game is way to addictive ^_~

But one the bright side it does give me something to do when writing isn't playing fair. And at the moment I know the scene, I'm pretty sure I know how I want it all to play out...but when I go to look at the story by thoughts scatter. Also concerned about writing this scene just right. After a buildup in the chapter before I want it to meet expectations.

So unfortunatley you might have to deal with the cliffy a little longer [Iz sorry]

PS I was aware that there were aliens in the game ^_^

FIRE!!
So my Sims house caught fire twice...and this while I was talking with [info]neekabe *laughs* I know why it happened there may be too much stuff in my small house, I can fix that. But I ended up having to shut it off so I could restart from my last save because too much damage had been done in the second fire.

In other news Snowball is the greatest kitty. So easy to please, so loving of her people ^_^ *huggles* Snowball! It was definitely the right move to make selling Lex...I never really considered the fact that a pet might be incompatible with the people. I'm not even sure that's what it was but it does make a little sense, they give the characters personalities and the animals.

In either case looking forward to more play tomorrow, and hopefully some writing. Today every time I looked at Lift me Up my thoughts just scattered...really rather frustrating actually. But hopefully tomorrow will be better *fingers crossed* I really honestly don't want to leave all of you waiting with this cliffhanger for too long if I can help it [whoo, was that a really roundabout crazy sentence? *shrugs*]

At least I'm ending today on a slightly up note

Well Lex is no more!!!

I don't now what was up with this dog but nothing I did was right, he was upset all the time and didn't like either Vailyn or Ahrum. So I finally got fedup! and sold his sorry ass!

I now have a kitty, her name is Snowball ^_~ [what Josh wants Josh gets] ^_~

This kitty too seemed to have a thing with feng shui...but I rather enjoy rearranging the furniture. So Snowball is getting on great with both my Sims w00t

But if she should start causing problems....*shakes fist*

Try and leave off today with a slight brighter note
It would seem my dog Lex has a serious case of feng shui as it took me bloody forever to figure out where I could actually put his bed so he'd sleep on it, instead of tossing and turning on the floor while moaning dreams of a bed *shakes fist*

But all is straightened out now...found a cheat for Sims 2 Pet, on GameFAQ...but no matter how I tried it or how many times nothing happened. I'm not even sure what was supposed to happen. But now that I have a few of my frustrations sorted out I can continue on slowly building up my money so I can move my Sims' Ahrum and Vailyn Is'nah [couldn't think of a last name ^_~] into a bigger house!

And I've at least got chapter 9 for Lift me Up started, which is the hardest part, so *fingers crossed* I'll get some more written tomorrow!

truly addicting...but I'm not sure why...
My Sims' are no longer living in sin ^_~ I got their relationship up high enough for Ahrum to ask Vailyn to marry him. And of course she said yes, so now they're a couple trying to save enough money to move into a bigger house which I've unlocked...but I really think it's going to take as long as in real life ^_~

What makes this game so fun? I'm really? you're just moving people around during their average day, sending them off to work, talking to friends...maybe it's the power aspect of it? Their lives are totally in your control! Mwahahahahah

Oh did I mention despite setting him to genius status, it would appear as though I have the dumbest dog alive...I buy him a dog bed and he ends up laying on the floor dreaming of a dog bed....I just want to kick...but there's no option for that ^_~

I finally managed to pull myself away from the game, I'm going to see if I can't get even a little writing done today.
