Today parents decided to clean up the yard, I went out to help [and take pictures] but was banished back into the house because my skin burns so easily. At least I was able to help my mum rake most of the backyard, I also got some amazing pictures of these little wild flowers that grow in this area every spring.

I'm not sure what the actual name for the flower but we've always called them Blue Bells

That's more pictures than you can shake a stick at! I started a photobucket account so that I could post some videos of my cousins without them being as completely public as youtube makes them.

Though I'd like to ask has anyone else had problems copying the embeded text? I took both videos but LJ wouldn't acknowledge them, I decided to try adding < /embed > and it seems to have worked. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced that.

Anyways this took way longer than I was intending...I guess I better go back to doing whatever I was before....now what was that...

I so missed him! but he'll be here for a week which is a really nice treat! he's been practicing the guitar since a little before Easter, my uncle Mike plays a lot and lent AJ one of his electric guitars.

He's got such nice long fingers for playing too

So as I understand this evening we'll be heading out to my aunt Danielle's house so my dad can fix a problem with her sink, if I don't get out of the house before then, at least I will have once today.

now it's back to poking at my story see if I can't get one of them moving again

another day that I feel like I've wasted...I don't know what it would take to make me feel like it was a good day, or even just okay but I haven't found it yet. I got a little writing done today but I'm just not happy with anything I'm coming up with, which leaves me frustrated.

I hate evenings mostly because I end up not wanting to go to bed, but there's nothing I want to do to pass the time while I'm up. can't win for trying...

Didn't get much done today *pouts*

Josh started a game in Crisis Core I've been telling him all about it ^_^ he's been hoping that they'll make it for the PS3 which they've done for a few of these PSP games.

Been working on a Hurt/Comfort fic for Supernatural...but my brain just isn't making it easy. I'm stuck at the moment where I don't think it's worth completing. I've been getting really frustrated with it tonight, I start writing something for it, and suddenly have to go back and change a lot of it >_< I'd just really like to be able to finish it!

I went out for a walk today cashed my GST rebate and decided to stop in at my Oma's one of my aunts was visiting with her kids. and found out that my camera can zoom in and out while filming, this is something I've wanted for a long time. I'm also hoping that it's low light abilities will make filming at Animaritime easier.

I went a little simpler one this one, no two toned boarder, only blue flowers...I'm not exactly happy about that but I'm just glad I'm done!



I haven't eaten anything since yesterday...and I can't even bring myself to drink a meal replacement so...

ramenparty has supplied me with another fic to toy with, so I'm hoping in the next couple of days that I might be able to post it for you.

But tonight we're off to spend the evening with the entire family *sigh* I think I'll be bringing a laptop and perhaps my PSP.

I don't know if I mentioned this earlier, as I've said before I have an excellent memory I'm just lacking a recall button. But a little while ago I found myself missing decorating cakes since it's been so long since I've done it. I decided that I wanted to make a cake for Easter try and get the craving out of my system. Which is what I'm doing I've baked a large oval cake yesterday.

I cut it in half so I could decorate one for tonight when Kim's mom comes over and the other for the family on Sunday [am not looking forward to going though...]

I promised i_paint_the_sky that I'd post pictures of it when it is done. And I will one is already iced just needs to be decorated and the other one I need to finish icing.

I got to show AJ and Kim the first episode of Firefly not sure why it took me so long to get around to showing them. I think we kept running out of time, but they've seen it. I haven't had a chance to ask what they thought of it....[just did] Kim loved it, so I'll let them borrow the series.

I totally meant to post this before I went to decorate cakes [read...cake] but I got distracted by shiny things and I can now post two pictures of the first cake.





So making this one cake has totally removed my want to decorate cakes...I do still have one more to do, but I'll deal with that one tomorrow. In retrospect this weekend wasn't the best to choose, it is the best for feeding people cake, but the house is just so busy right now.

and kind of sad too...

I was just watching Chaz attempt to sharpen his front paws. I say attempt because the poor baby was declawed long before he came to us. Without knowing what it did, our first kitty was declawed too, and Sam did the same thing he'd always work on sharpening his front claws.

I find it interesting that they feel compelled to do this despite the fact that they know they don't have front claws.

The lack of claws is what makes Chaz so nervous of the other cats he's getting better at it now though ^_^ he's fitting in really well.

all except for my brother's refusal to accept him...*sigh*

so I just now find out that I'm not going to the Keg tonight...but that mom and dad decided to do it tomorrow.

Tomorrow is dad's birthday so that's a good thing...he wants to hit a bucked of balls at the golf dome...not such a good thing...but I'll bring my PSP and play some Jeanne D'arc

I don't know why not knowing that until now irritates me so much...I don't want to be upset right now I was handling my day fairly well, and the last thing I want is to crash. I'd really like a night when I just remain the same...

Oh and I think the CBC has just reached a new low in their broadcasting...The Week the Women Went....ummm What the Hell?! oh well, not like I have to watch it ^_~

So now what?

Oh and I think I'd really like to get my hands on another PSP version of the Sims...I think I like the restrictions that exist in those versions over the freedom in the PC Sims *laughs* Don't give me absolute freedom it terrifies me ^_~

Mom was intrigued by my playing the Sims 2 Pets and decided she wanted to give the Sims a try and bout the Sims 2 Deluxe edition. It's installed on Tsume which means I can play it whenever I want.

I went onto it just to see if I could find some thing that mom was having a hard time finding and I did. I was party way through creating my Sims family when I don't know what crashed either the game or the computer but no matter the only way I could get things to work again was to shut the computer down.

Needless to say this wasn't the best first impression that the game could make with me. Although I find all the options and choices a little overwhelming ^_~ and I'm glad that I played a PSP version first. Other wise I think I would have been too intimidated to even give the game a proper try. As it stands I can give mom some advice on what to do, and where to find things. I know the set up won't be identical to the PSP version but that's alright.

I can tell already that she really likes it, she was just a little frustrated that she couldn't find where to create her own custom family. I've found that now so when she comes home she can have a fun time making her people, man do they ever give you a lot of options in how they look, and I love some of the women's formal wear ^_~ so taking a gown ^_~ can't help it ^_^

I started Jeanne D'arc yesterday ^___^ it makes for happy feet. I'll definitely enjoy playing this game I'm sure. I didn't get very far in the game because it was the last day I could get together with neekabe ^_^ and she's more important than a game any time!

Got to watch a litle more Doctor Who too, I just love David Tennant he's such an amazing actor! which can make certain parts of the show absolutely heart breaking. I'm not looking forward to seeing the season finale of season 2...I understand I'll no doubt be in tears...knowing that does nothing to prepare me though. But I will watch it ^_^

Tonight we're heading over to my uncle's to watch the Simpsons Movie on his theater system, neither of my uncles have seen the movie yet ^_^ I laugh so hard still watching it, and I could easily watch it a bunch more times ^_^ I think it's become an instant classic in out house. They really did an excellent job on it!

So I'm back from my aunts place!

Love seeing my aunts and uncles! But oh my with 14 children excited beyond belief with Santa coming ^_~ I quickly made my way down into the dark and quiet family room where I quietly played on my PSP. Oh and feenix I finally managed to defeat that battle! ^_^

Krevin is now a Swordman level 8 and slowly working his way up ^_~ I want him ahead of the other characters again ^_~

Am now watching A Christmas Carol, my dad's favorite movie ^_^ it's tradition that we watch it ^_^

so now I have sleepy happy feet, which will hopefully last long into tomorrow! *fingers crossed*

No, but while I was standing there waiting for my dad to take a look at another tree, I got attached, and decided his name should be Bob. So we got Bob, he's downstairs right now, we need to wait for the ice to melt before we can put him up.

Shiny Shiny!!

Well I think I've finished Sims Pets...or at least I've unlocked everything I can with the family I've been working on ^_^ Ahrum and Vailyn are in a three bedroom house! and the kitties Snowball and Coltran have two rooms for themselves, and hopefully Snowball will finally stop destroying my couches...don't know how many times I've scolded her for that...and she still does it. Especially when she's drunk on catnip.

So I've finally removed the Sims from my PSP and inserted Tales of the World so I can start it at any time now ^_^

We're getting our Christmas Tree this weekend, my sister's home today, and as I understand it, my brother and his wife will be coming down tomorrow or Saturday. So everyone will be here for it! Hooray!! It's always interesting to see how the kitties take to the tree. None of them have ever tried to climb the tree, thankfully! But Heero likes to try and eat the tree ^_~

We always make sure to keep unbreakable ones near the bottom just in case kitties start batting at them ^_~

Went to Kingston creepy early this morning...funny what's become early to me now. I used to think 6 was early but now I'm waking up consistently at 9 which is when mom woke me up, she wanted to be one the road by 9:30.

I was still trying to think of something not too expensive that I could buy that would lead to a little happiness, asked AJ and Kim for suggestions. Kim suggested heading to the bead store to maybe get supplies to make a new bracelet.

I found a bunch of bone beads that I really liked and ended up with an awesome bracelet that I'm very happy with. Two of the bead on it make me think of Gir from Invader Zim

I'm sure I'm the only one who could see it but there it is ^_^ I think Gir is so darn cute!!

Tired! never got a nap today, will have to go to bed early tonight...no real reason to stay up that I can think of.

tired despite the fact that I drank 3 bottles of BAWLS today >_< Oh the caffeine and I'm still yawning.

I'm not really and Earth First sort of woman...

I've always been a fan of Earth First We'll Strip Mine the Other Planets Later ^_~

But that doesn't mean I like seeing fecal matter floating on top of the water in the lake *shudder* That's just disgusting, and smells really REALLY terrible...and makes me want to take a chemical shower for having ever set foot inside that water.

I'm sure it's not always that bad, and sever weather can cause sewage to overflow the system. But really, this much?

Mom asked if I wanted to take a walk with her along the shore line in Port Hope, the waterfront in both Port Hope and Coboroug is extremely beautiful. And since it's been suggested to me that I get out of the house a little and we were already out and about I agreed thought it might to me a little good.

It really is a beautiful day here, cool nice breeze sunny. But as we started walking I decided to take a narrow path down to the water there was this weird algae growing on some stones, and the closer I got to the water the more it smelled like a open septic system.

Further down the beautiful path mom and I both approached the water, no green algae this time just black water with fecal matter floating on the surface and slowly building on the shore, the smell was over powering >_< bleh!

Still managed to be a nice walk, we just avoided the water. I'd like to be able to go back with my camera and take some pictures of the area it's really quite beautiful! I'd also be interested to see if the water improves at all. I can't say for sure if the beaches in the area have been closed at all during the summer, but I've vowed never to set foot in Lake Ontario again!

I didn't end up going to Brampton with Kim AJ and Nate, as the time approached I was just feeling way to stressed. And the thought of getting all the way out there and knowing I can't get home until they're ready was not a pleasant thought. Kim understood, and as it turned out I got to hang out with them more than I originally thought because the crashed here for the night ^_^

I woke up on my one at 1:00 am and heard them coming in the basement so I just remained up as they got settled, Heero couldn't possibly have been a happier kitty by these unexpected people in the middle of the night. He was purring very happily on my bed while everyone got settled. And they didn't leave until we had to leave for mass a 10:30 so it wasn't bad, wish I could have hung out with them more, but next weekend AJ and Kim are coming down for the family picnic so I'll be seeing them then ^_^

I received two new chapters from my editor, and I edited them and posted them all today ^_^ see good kitty! Now if only I could get my mind to work properly and let me get some writing done.

Oh well I feel a little accomplished which is good!

I'm really...not sure what I was going to say next...Oh! that's right, I'm really enjoying my game Ys ^_~ so much fun! It is the shiny! I found out from my brother that the original Final Fantasy is being re-released for the PSP which makes my feet happy!

So now all I have to do is wait for Criss Core ^_~

Raided my uncles stash of PS1 and PS2 games this morning...between my brother and I we took about half the collection ^_~ and it's a bloody huge collection!

so many RPGs I'd never heard of before...so many I have now to play ^_^

I've started one creepy game called Clock Tower 3, deals with ghosts and the like...I find it most creepy cause you don't get to physically defend yourself really. You have holy water that you can splash on the enemies but that only slows them down for a little while.

You can get rid of the ghost by finding their sentimental item and returning it to them, which really isn't all that hard. But I came across this brutish guy with a giant hammer and there isn't a way to really get rid of him but to hide and wait him out...I don't like this ^_~ but I'm sure I'll be able to pluck up the courage to do a little more exploring.

I remember back when my uncle had been thinking of getting rid of his collection of games he had for a long time wanted money for it, and he had wanted to sell it as a set. I'd offered to buy a few of the games I wanted most off of him, but he didn't want to do that. I'm so glad he decided just to part with them.

I wonder how long before I start something new....

My aunt's had her fifth child on monday, a healthy little baby boy, this makes for three girls and two boys. And let me tell you her little boy Joe is the most charming little fella I've ever seen ^_^ don't know what it is about him, he's just so darn cute!

She's really been hoping for a quiet baby as Joe, was far from it while her three girls were surprisingly good sleepers, some of them even having to be woken up by her to feed ^_~

But on the second night in the hospital little Jack screamed his little heart out, yesterday evening my aunt was changing Jack, and noticed that the security bracelet on his little ankle was cutting off the circulation to his foot. As soon as it was cut off he quieted down. >_< stupid person who put that on!

Poor little fella, at least he's better now, I'll be going to see him again later today.

Went to see Shrek The Third last night ^_^ I was sure the experience was going to be a bad one considering there were two and a half rows near the back of the theater reserved for what I assumed would be a large party of little children...sure enough I was right, in they came ^_~

As my brother said 'At least they're well fed'

they actually behaved themselves really well, and I loved the movie ^_~

I absolutely love escaping to Kingston for a few days!

and of course I took my camera with me ^_^


I love spending time at my brother's house Hibou is so big and nice to cuddle I just can't help myself ^_~ and Hobbs nicely place fetch with just about anything, before dropping it in his water dish ^_^ it's a Bengal thing I guess.

I mentioned Nate's online name Brony cause he like by brother's and sister in-law play WOW (World of Warcraft) enevitably it comes up in conversation ^_^ which doesn't bother me, I've been told I can hold intelligent conversations about it, having never played before in my life ^_~


Because my brother's apartment isn't huge I spent my nights with my sister at her house, which was nice, I had been talking to her the morning that I left for Kingston (this was before I knew I'd even be going) and had really wanted to see her ^_~


So they'll be having their computers made for them, and the price is about what they were expecting to pay so all is good ^_^ *fingers crossed* it won't take long for their computers to be ready for them.

We went out to dinner both nights I was there, once at Stooley's I love this place it's small, but the food is great and the owner very friendly ^_^ The second night my sister treated me to dinner at a lovely establishment called the Copper Penny


Dinner was great! I have pictures of that too ^_^ but I'm not sure how much people would appreciate seeing that ^_~


So there it is a wonderful trip ^_^ and it only rained on the last day which is great! I just wish I could have stayed longer!
